2011-2012 Campaign at a Glance

Volunteer Campaign Chairs

United Way of Santa Cruz County is so pleased and proud to announce Dr. Nanette Mickiewicz and Alan McKay as our 2011-2012 Campaign Co-chairs.  They will lead staff and volunteers in raising money to support achieving our three goals of 1) Youth Success, 2) Family Financial Stability and 3) Good Health.

Nan is the Hospital President of Dominican Hospital  and says "I really believe in what the United Way of Santa Cruz County is accomplishing in our community."  We are excited that she will be working with us as 2011-2012 co-chair.
Alan is the Executive Director of the Central California Alliance for Health.  His work in the community gives him a real understanding of the role of the United Way in strengthening Santa Cruz County.

Both Nan and Alan are extremely involved with community activities and their caring and knowledge of Santa Cruz County brings great insight to our campaign.

Campaign Theme

Your Gift Touches Us AllYour  Gift Touches Us All really represents the relationship of United Way to our community.  Our donors are part of this community and every dollar given to the United Way stays right here in Santa Cruz County. These dollars are used to help our families and neighbors who need a helping hand - perhaps to get out of a crisis situation - and to change their lives for the better.

And with 2-1-1 - the 24x7 health and human services hotline brought to our county by United Way -  now available to every one in Santa Cruz County, your gift really does touch us all.

This year is our 70th campaign. 70 years of strengthening Santa Cruz County.  70 years of helping our residents.  70 years of being there in time of need.

We look forward to all joining together to make this our most successful campaign yet.
