Our Partner Programs are working towards acheiving one or more of the results listed above:

  • Catholic Charities (Family Supportive Services, Immigration & Citizenship)
    Provides food vouchers, rental and utility assistance as well as offering immigration and citizenship services.

  • Families In Transition

    FIT works throughout Santa Cruz County to provide homeless families with comprehensive case management and temporary housing assistance. Families work on individual strategies for stability in all areas of their lives, including housing, finances, parenting and social service issues. 

  • HOPE Services
    Delivers nine programs including training programs for job and life skills for 300 Santa Cruz County individuals with developmental disabilities. The programs assist clients in living and participating in their communities by maximizing their social and economic independence.

  • Pajaro Valley Shelter Services (Emergency Shelter, Transitional Housing)
    Provides emergency shelter for homeless women and children and transitional housing for homeless families. Programs use comprehensive case management to help families help themselves gain economic self-sufficiency by overcoming the barriers that led to their being homeless.

  • Salvation Army, Watsonville (Transitional Housing, Social Services Program)

    Provides housing for homeless families, utilities and rental assistance, emergency assistance, recreational activities, organized youth programs and social groups for women and children.

  • Santa Cruz Community Counseling Center (Community Support Services)

    Provides mental health services to Santa Cruz County adults with psychiatric disabilities and frequently, co-occuring chemical dependency. Services include treatment, recreational and social activities and housing.

  • Family Financial Stability Partnership (Lead Agency - Santa Cruz Community Ventures)

    Equips people in our community to achieve lasting financial security. Through asset building tools, financial education and technical assistance.

  • Senior's Council of Santa Cruz & San Benito Counties (Foster Grandparents)
    It is the mission of the Seniors Council to enable older persons to function with independence and dignity in their homes and in the community to their fullest capacity. The Foster Grandparents Program allows seniors to devote their volunteer service entirely to disadvantaged youth offering classroom support through mentorship and tutoring.

  • Volunteer Centers of Santa Cruz County (Community Connections, Friends Outside, Literacy Program) Community Connections offers a variety of opportunities for the mentally ill to learn vocational and life skills, access higher education and find employment. Friends Outside helps those who are incarcerated and their families by providing support, information and refferal services so they can successfully reenter the community. The Literacy Program uses trained volunteers to teach adults how to read, write, speak and understand English.
