Our Mission
To build a strong San Lorenzo Valley Community, inspire independence, and facilitate health and human services in a safe, caring, environment.
Mountain Community Resources (MCR), a family resource center, has been helping your neighbors for over 24 years. We offer programs and services that work directly with individuals and families to provide a network of opportunities to help people thrive.
We see all individuals and families having a safe and caring community where neighbors help and support each other and have an understanding and appreciation of diversity and the opportunities that it brings to our ever-changing community.
We help people discover and use their personal strengths to become self-sufficient and valued contributing members of our community. We develop programs using individual and community resources and education to foster creative solutions to individual and community needs.
Our Philosophy
We are dedicated to community improvement by providing services that promote a healthy exchange between individuals and community which foster ect and independence by equipping people with tools to help themselves. Therefore:
