An Evening with Marilyn

Beautiful Chaminade Resort in Santa Cruz is the location for this unique, once in a lifetime Evening with Marilyn Gala.  A friend of the United Way of Santa Cruz County has offered his world-class collection of Marilyn Monroe's personal clothing, accessories, documents and other items to be exhibited to benefit the United Way.

You will be able to browse the collection, silent auction bid on fabulous items donated for this event and hear a special presentation from the collector.

This presentation includes videos of Marilyn wearing many of the clothes on display.  Additionally, the collector will share anecdotes about some of the items in his collection -- and stories of Marilyn and these items.  He has presented this collection to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences -- and this is the first time it has been made available to the public. 

For some old-fashioned Hollywood glamour and elegance, we are inviting our guests to dress in their most glamorous outfits - including suits or black tie or fancy dresses or sparkling jewelery.
