Family Friendly Employer Awards
CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS FOR 2012!
Santa Cruz County parents recognize that balancing work and family is a continuous challenge. United Way of Santa Cruz County's Family Friendly Employer Awards aims to recognize employers who support employees in their roles as parents.
A Family Friendly Employer:
- Benefits, policies and programs that promote employees quality of life and work/life balance
- Workplace cultures and climates that reflect family or employee centered beliefs
- Workplace relationships with supervisors and co-workers that are respectful of employee's work-family responsibilities
- Work processes, systems and practices that keep beneficial outcomes for both the organization and employees in the forefront
The Family Friendly Employer awards is launched in Mayof each year. Nominations are collected in June and winners announced in August.
