Jóvenes SANOS - Fruit Stands
Jóvenes SANOS hosts after-school Fruit Stand at three school campuses in Watsonville.
- Minty White Elementary
- E.A. Hall Middle
- Watsonville High School
Each school will be hosting a fruit stand every Thursday, starting September 24th and running for 4 weeks. After school, Jóvenes SANOS students will sell delicious, fresh fruit donated by Driscoll’s Strawberry Associates, Inc. The fruit stands are just one approach the Jóvenes SANOS School Wellness group is taking to increase access to fruits and vegetables on school campuses and promote healthy nutrition.
