According to OurTime.org, Millennial voter participation saw record low numbers in 2014, with only 21.5% of the registered young American's turning out to vote. In 2016, 81 million millennials will be eligible to vote in U.S. elections, making millennials the largest voting bloc in the nation. By 2020 the entire generation, 93 million Americans will be of voting age.
Elected officials regularly make important decisions related to Health, Family Financial Stability and Youth Success, and yet voter turnout remains incredibly low. Let's get 1,000 new individuals registered to vote in Santa Cruz County and ensure our community is represented in 2016!
