Your donation goes to support a network of 33 non-profits in Santa Cruz County. We refer to these not-for-profits as our Member Agencies. Every dollar raised in Santa Cruz County stay in Santa Cruz County to ensure the strong foundation of our county. No other organization understands the needs in Santa Cruz County or the non-profit organizations that make an impact in our community better than United Way. With just one investment you can help solve the many critical issues facing individuals, families and children in Santa Cruz County every day.

Stocks and Securities

A gift of stock or securities is a great way to contribute to the United Way of Santa Cruz County. You can take a charitable donation deduction for the fair market value of the stock on the date of the gift and you'll avoid capital gain tax on the transfer of appreciated securities. Stock may be transferred physically or electronically. Plese contact our office for specific instructions.

Payroll Deductions

Many companies will facilitate payment of your United Way pledge through payroll deduction. Please complete your company's paperwork in order to donate to United Way in this fashion.
