Women in Philanthropy

Formed To Change Lives In Santa Cruz County
Women in Philanthropy is a movement of women creating opportunities for a better life in Santa Cruz County. Sponsored by United Way of Santa Cruz County, Women in Philanthropy was launched in 2005 by a group of local women dedicated to making a difference in the lives of youth in our community. Women in Philanthropy is in a unique position to leverage the collective giving ability of women in business, government, community volunteers and leaders to further United Way's youth success agenda in Santa Cruz County.
Women in Philanthropy members invest in quality school-based initiatives, advocate for better policies, engage people in the community, and generate resources. Women in Philanthropy currently receives a generous corporate grant from Bank of America to help fund the programs.
