At United Way Santa Cruz County, our mission is to ignite our community to give, advocate, and volunteer so that all youth succeed in school and life, our residents are healthy, and our families are financially independent.
Through our two core initiatives—United4Youth and United4Community—we tackle the most pressing needs in our region:
- United4Youth invests in programs that support youth mental health, civic engagement, leadership development, and safer spaces for youth across Santa Cruz County. Programs include:
- United4Community ensures access to essential resources such as food, housing, healthcare, and emergency response through services like:
- 211 Santa Cruz County – a 24/7 information and referral service connecting people to local resources, especially during times of crisis like wildfires, floods, and pandemics.
- Free Tax Preparation Services
- The development of our Closed Loop Referral System, helping families access coordinated care.
When you support our workplace giving, you’re helping create lasting change right here at home. You can give a one-time donation or set up recurring contributions directly through your payroll.
