- United4Youth invests in programs that strengthen youth leadership, mental well-being, civic engagement, and the creation of safer spaces for youth across Santa Cruz County. Through this initiative, United Way equips young people to lead with confidence, contribute to their communities, and shape positive change. Programs include:

• Jóvenes Sanos - youth-led advocacy promoting wellness and reducing stigma around mental health.
• Youth Action Network - connecting youth and adult partners to drive civic participation and leadership.
• YPAR/Youth Participatory Action Research - a collaboration with UC Santa Cruz equipping youth to research and address community needs.

Last year, more than 600 youth participated in over 80 youth-led events, and their leadership helped advance the Santa Cruz County Children and Youth Bill of Rights, affirming that every young person deserves to feel safe, supported, and valued.

- United4Community ensures access to essential resources such as food, housing, healthcare, and emergency response through services like:

• 211 Santa Cruz County - a 24/7 information and referral service connecting people to local resources, especially during times of crisis like wildfires, floods, and pandemics.
• Free Tax Preparation Services - helping working families keep more of their income.

• Closed Loop Referral System -  helping families access coordinated care.
