Community Assessment Project - 2017 Community Hero Nominations
This November will mark the 23nd Annual Community Assessment Project Press Conference & Celebration. The Community Assessment Project (CAP) is a collaborative effort of the United Way of Santa Cruz County and local leaders in public and private health, education, human service and civic organizations to measure and improve the quality of life in Santa Cruz County.
One of the most inspiring aspects of the Community Assessment Project is the yearly recognition of local Community Heroes. Individuals in the community are nominated by their peers for their outstanding work and dedication towards Community Goals that seek to improve the quality of life in the county.
Nominations for the 2017 CAP Community Heroes are currently being accepted by the United Way until July 7th. Nomination forms and a list of the Community Goals can be found here.
By nominating a Community Hero, you will bring awareness and acknowledgment to a remarkable individual or group’s impact on improving the quality of life in Santa Cruz County. The Community Heroes are honored at the November Press Conference, which is open to the public and reported on through local media.
