Chris’s banking career spanned more than 40 years beginning with Bank of America where she started as a bank teller. Working her way through lending and personalized banking positions to being named a Senior Vice president. In 2005 leading a team of Personal Bankers, Chris retired from Bank of America as Senior Vice President, Market Manager for the Central Coast Premier Banking Team. Chris joined Santa Cruz County Bank in 2005 as VP/Regional Relationship Manager responsible for business and community development. In July 2022, Chris retired from the bank after 17 years serving her community.
Chris’s community involvement has spanned many non-profit boards and committees through the years install participates in many today.
Currently Chris serves on the following boards/committees:
- Board Chair/board member, Hospice of Santa Cruz County
- Dominican Hospital Foundation Women of Wellness steering committee. Past involvement with the foundation includes work with the Holidays d’Eleganz committee orchestrating the annual fundraiser for over 20 years and serving as chair of the event for multiple years.
- United Way of Santa Cruz, Women in Philanthropy steering committee. Chris is a past board member (2 terms) serving as board chair as well as Co-chair for annual campaign and development committee.
- Santa Cruz Area Chamber of Commerce, current chair of the Women in Business committee, member of the Membership and Marketing committee and Ambassador Team. Chris also served a past board chair for 2 terms (2016-2017).
- Cabrillo College Foundation Women’s Educational Success (WES) committee. Chris also had past involvement with the Dental Hygiene Department serving as a community member on their advisory committee.

Chris and her husband Chuck live in Scotts Valley. They have 3 children and are active grandparents with 8 grandkids; fortunate that all families live close by and able to enjoy family dinners and celebrations. In her spare time Chris loves to cook and garden along with annual trips to Maui.
