Sutter Health wants a thriving community, a place where we can go to the doctor when we are sick, no matter where we live or how much money we make. A place where our children go to great schools, learning skills to prepare them for the high-tech jobs of the future. And a place where hard-working parents can earn enough money to take care of their families, keep a roof over their heads and save for a rainy day. This is our vision for Santa Cruz County, the place we call home.
By ensuring that every child has the opportunity to reach their greatest potential, United Way is investing in local programs, services, and systems change because we believe youth are the future designers of a healthy, thriving Santa Cruz County.
United 4 Youth is a team of nonprofits co-designing collaborative programs that lead to positive and sustainable outcomes for our highest needs youth. From homework help to family counseling, addressing the impacts of vaping to family engagement activities - these comprehensive community-based approaches will ensure our youth grow in a safe, healthy, and thriving community.
