On Wednesday, the United Way of Santa Cruz County said it had teamed up with the County Office of Education for a school supply collection drive.
The campaign, called “Stuff the Bus,” seeks to provide less fortunate children with the items they’ll need to succeed in their studies.

Educators and supporters early this month launched a campaign to raise money for and collect backpacks and school supplies for Santa Cruz County children getting prepared for the next school year.
The county office of education and the United Way of Santa Cruz County teamed up starting July 1 on the campaign called "stuff the bus," aiming to raise $25,000 for thousands of students in need.
