Kristyn Glenn is the Development Manager for Dientes Community Dental Care. She is a passionate development professional who thrives on communicating the story of an organization to foster engagement and investment.
An east coast transplant, Kristyn moved to California to attend UCSC where she earned her BA in Global Economics and Environmental Studies. She quickly fell in love with Santa Cruz County and became determined to put down roots and give back to the community that was now her home. With the betterment of community in mind she pursued a career in nonprofit development at a local dental clinic, Dientes, and became involved in the Emerging Leaders Circle during its first few years. Then her love of travel and adventure took her across the Pacific Ocean, and she moved to New Zealand! There, she continued her career in fundraising and marketing at an international, child-focused nonprofit called Barnardos. After a couple of years abroad, she made her way back home to Santa Cruz and returned to Dientes.
Now, serving as Dientes’ Development Manager, her commitment to well-being and full-potential fuels investment in Dientes and increases access to oral health care for those who need it most. When she’s not communicating the importance of healthy smiles, she loves to travel, go backpacking, ski, and indulge in yummy local brews.
